I can't say how many miles I get yet because I'm still on the same filter at 5000 miles.

Your filtering needs work. Here is what I do:

Get good oil. I get mine from a chinese place that I get from the top layer of the dumpster and from an Italian place that uses my buckets.

Let it settle for a few days and siphon off from the top.

Pour through a 1 micron bag filter into a clean container.

Draw from the container and filter again through a 10 micron Goldenrod.

That's all I do.
