No, I haven't actually used the kit but based on my experience with other Renntech products as well as their solid reputation, I would, if faced with the same situation as yours, at least give them a call or email them to find out whether their product would solve your problem.

My understanding from them is that this kit is required for their lowering kit and lowering the car in general. I had previously asked them because I am considering their lowering kit for my my next round of upgrades.

You may also want to post a query on the hot rod forum as some of the people who post there have a bit more familiarity with Renntech.
