That water pump should cost you less than $30 to buy if you go to a chain parts store. A few hours to pu tit in w/ some descent tools and a set of helping hands. As far as the exhaust, I'd just straight pipe it if it's leagal in your area. Sorry to hear about your Dad. Good luck with everything.
