I want to say thank you to everybody for this wonderful and insightful forum, which I've lurked on for well over a year!
You helped me do my first detailing, my first fluid change, my coolant flush(poor man's variety-water, water, water til the green stuff was gone, now filled with the amber goodness), my timing chain replacement(thanks, DieselGiant), my hood latch adjustment, my window switch cleaning(amazing, it worked!) and my soon to be tackled front end rebuild.
You know who you are, and there are many who I'll probably forget, but I want to thank Brian Carlton, WHunter, R Leo, Larry Bible, Bonehead Doctor, hatterasguy, H-townbenzoboy, Biodiesel300TD, Palangi, and Old300D especially, for sharing your experiences, your wit, and, let's face it, the wisdom of your mistakes!
I don't have any questions at the moment, but my to-do list goes something like this:
1. valve adjustment
2. front end rebuild(tie rod assemblies, idler arm and center drag link)and alignment
3. front and rear window seals
4. alda and turbo adjustments
5. rear CV Boot replacement
6. A/C ciphering-can wait for now, I have R-134, it leaks, and I am leaning Larry's way, deal with that later!
7. oh yeah, fix the odometer!
All of this before I attempt the ole WVO trick(after I paint the house)!
So without further ado, I give you Garner!

Don't forget to at least check your upper control arm bushings even if the ball joints are good. THey are rubber and will deteriorate from age. Primary symptoms are cambered in front wheels...and also check the sway bar bushings to the upper control arms for the same reasons..
