changing tensioner on 98 e320
Went to ALLDATA.com and took out a subscrition for 25 bucks. Best money I ever spent. Found out the hard way what the pin is in the tensioner for after I cut it off with a dremel tool. Turns out the pin keeps the tensioner from snapping into place so you will have room to put the bolt into the engine block! Anyway, job done, saved a hundred dollars or so doing it myself and learned a little more about my beloved E-class.
