Power Service for WVO.silver or white bottle?

I think the silver bottle is warm weather stuff and the white bottle is for colder weather.

What about when running WVO in the summer? Would the benefits of anti gelling still be prefered? Basically use the white bottle year round for WVO users?

In South Texas Walmart sells both.

Odie,
This is speculation shakily supported by seat-o-the-pants testing, but I'm not sure a diesel anti jell is going to do much for you in WVO. The anti jell I experimented with (I think it was called Freeze Out) had no noticible effect on straight WVO chilled to 34°-38°F. I think that stuff works on the paraffins in diesel and WVO has fats, not paraffins.

Silver has more cetane boost, I use it. I could buy it at $9.99 for the big jug but haven't seen that price for months.

I think WM sells both silver and white jugs for about $10 each. I think they were the big 32oz jugs.

anti gell works only on paraffins?

I blend my WVO with various amounts of diesel and/or RUG.

I think the diesel helps "melt" any fats and RUG definitely dissolves fat deposits. a little RUG works wonders for cleaning out all the hard fat deposits at the bottom of my WVO barrels.

Plus, when temps get close to freezing, my WVO% drops considerably. I don't think diesel gelling is a real issue until you are well freezing in the 0' range.

What temp does diesel start to gel at? I guess I could put it in the freezer and find out
