Question wvo and 80 something benz? turbo diesel 300?

Hello, I'm brand new to the site, exploring my opotions on a wvo conversion on possibly a I think 85 300 something turbo diesel with 5-cylinder,100,000 miles, no visible rust, runs, and I can get it for $800.00!!!! AC is not working other than that he says it runs good. What do you think?? Have anyone used wvo with this type of car , I've heard that it would make a great candidate for wvo??? I'll be checking the car out more maybe next week.

Perfect for veggie.
Just remember, cheap Mercedes are often darn expensive.
Make sure none of the big ticket items are in need of service.
