I was at walmart today, and looks like they are cleaning out they're supply of dry gas. at 25¢ per 12 ounces, that's around $3.00 a Gallon, which isn't to bad.

I snag my methanol at a race shop (55gal drums) or you can get it at a Chemical supply place (look up solvents and the like).
You might be suprised where you will find something. Can you give us a location where you are? Some forum members might know where to get some...

I tried to source methanol from chemical companies. They gave the the royal runaround-can't sell to the public, can't sell to individuals, hazardous stuff, etc. I quite enjoyed telling them where to stick it since any speed shop can get it in 55 gallon drums quite easily. RT
