towing and SVO conversion with 300TD
 

I want to buy a diesel to convert to SVO and use it to tow a small (12-13'?) trailer as I move around the country. I am looking at an 82 300TD wagon with 238K for this. Any thoughts? Thanks! :confused:

I have a beautiful 82 300TD wagon with 265K, service records, wonderful original blue paint, great blue interior, new michelins. I can install a tow hitch for you if you would like, I have one for this car. I have towed small trailers with 123's and they do great. I have towed lots of trailers and even other MBZ with my wagon, you can do it but just don't get in a hurry.
