Smile Selling the 300SD (WVO)

Just fyi, I'm selling my '83 300SD (on ebay in a bit, no link yet). Has a 24 gallon WVO tank in the trunk. Keeping my son's '82 300D with similar setup, but...I have gone to the dark side and will pick up a new Passat TDI tomorrow... Feels a bit like a toy after the SD but it does GO when you stomp on it. We shall see where this leads! fmb (The pitch was that this would get me out of the garage....but I've already found another 300D possible conversion project...she's gonna kill me!)

Cheers all. fred

Well, I don't know..I'm kinda half watching it on Ebay now and I can't really tell what it will bring. The whole WVO thing is kind of business as usual to me now but from the questions I'm getting it's apparent that many, many people have never heard of it, so it's kind of fun. Got the new Passat TDI yesterday...really nice, but still feels like a golf cart compared to the Benz. I expect there will be another 123 or 126 in the garage in time! Fred

(I'm apparently not clever enough to cut and paste the link here...derrr!) Good (if hot) weekend all!

Link to this car's ebay listing

Here is the link for all you who are interseted. Copy and paste this in the URL area of your browser then hit enter or "go". BTW, car looks good! My 300SD has a greasel system with a Vegtherm inline heater added just before lift pump and I added a quick flush system so during winter if I forget and pull into my driveway, I flip a switch and the lush is done in <20 sec.
