Plugged fuel filter with WVO blend
Before I started running the blend, I installed a new spin-on fuel filter. Now, after about 2,000 miles on 50% WVO/ 50% diesel, the spin-on filter is plugged. Total of about 50 gallons of clean WVO that had been filtered to 1 micron. I don't know for sure what clogged the filter yet, but I am worried about fungus. I just replaced the filter with a new one, but I don't want to be doing that every 2,000 miles. I'm thinking about installing a couple of extra filters in the fuel line, large disposable ones. Maybe two in parallel. That, and probably some biocide.
Thoughts?

You really should run some tank cleaners through the system first. The WVO has a way of dislodging old chunks of crap from the tank. Next would be to check your blend by sticking it in the refrigerator and then the freezer. A small sample in a clear glass jar will give some insights on wheather it's your oil or your tank. Are you filtering your blend or just the WVO? What is the color of your filtered WVO?

Stock up on filters
When you switch to SVO or WVO it cleans the old diesel sludge out of the fuel tank, and into the filters.
If everything else is OK, it generally goes away after two or three filters. Cut your plugged filter open, it should be packed with thick black tar like goo.

Power service makes a fuel polishing kit and the one I'm using for the third time is this one Wanna guess what it is mostly? If you read the other thread.....and said Naptha you're right. I buy it cuz I'm a sucker for the enzyme pitch The other solvent used by refineries to remove sludge, wax etc.. from lower distilation products and crude in pipe line and storage tanks...... xylene.
Make a 10 gallon batch of blend and let it sit for 2 weeks. Then very slowly pour (decant if you will) off all but a gallon or 2. See if there's anything on the bottom. I was getting a real fine black silt that was getting past 1 micron bag filters and my oil is honey colored it's so good. I think it was from tempoura batter. But it never plugged my filters.

Dont waste your time cutting open the the filter. If you had a fungus problem, your PRIMARY filter would have clogged along time ago!! A new spin on filter is a SMALL price to pay for the SAVINGS IN FUEL COST!!
