Does anyone know if funugs attacks biodiesel more or less than petroleum diesel?

in cold weather it does. but i know the pump in berkely ca sells biocide to get rid of it.

Yes, HUMBUG's can effect biodiesel. But only if there is water contamination also. The critters need the water. So to ask if it happens more or less, is really a water contamination issue. So the question would be; is biodiesel more hydrophilic than diesel. I don't know the answer, but you could then conclude that HUMBUG's would be more likely to form in the more hydrophilic fuel.
