I would not recommend one of those pumps if you are really into sucking up a lot of WVO. Especially in the Winter. They are not meant for the heavier oils and in the winter that stuff gets mighty thick. You run the possibility of burning one up within one winter alone.

I would recomend a gear pump. Check out this link for a cheap one. It works great and I've heard great reviews for length of service. Mine hasn't even come close to busting yet. I had a piece of plastic get jammed in it though when I sucked WVO with out the filter. So lesson learned. Always use some sort of screen or filter.

Good luck with your x-mas gifts

I've noticed you mention WVO on here quite a bit so if you ever feel like chating let me know. I have been doing it for 1 year with my F-250 and have recently bought my first Mercedes (I can't wait to get it running)

This is what I really want (along with a large diaphragm pump). A large centriuge (Wakusha makes one, holds about 2 liters of crap) It filters WVO down to 1 micron and cleaning is a breeze.
