Biodiesel Blunder??
 

I made my batch lastnight 1l of oil.....
It seperated AWESOMe and had good clear biodiesel.

I went to wash it today, as per the "dr.pepper" instructions and instant white goo...no good....lost that batch....ok, no problem...start another one right?

I went to the store and bought some NEW CLEAN oil...heated it, mixed the
Methoxide, and mixed with the oil.....the ENTIRE batch of oil gelled the instant the methoxide was poured and shaken.....

what happened?????

Nevermind I know what went wrong
 

I mis read the instructions and thought 1tbsp was the eq of 1 gram

I DOUBLED the amount of lye for 2 litres oil...DUH....
