I see a few listed on CraigsList that might interest you, the '85 190D has a stick shift which makes it super for good fuel economy and should have lots of pep for a diesel if it is in good running condition:

You might already know this, but a grease car kit can be purchased for ~$800, plus install. Pick up yourself a decent old Merc and do the conversion. Something I've been contemplating for a while know.

See this link:

Minnesota WVO group

Hi,

We're starting a WVO group. I'm converting my mercedes using a greasecar kit. Which, I found on craigslist.com - it's a good source for used diesel cars! I also like autotrader.com.

Email me at smithareen@gmail.com for more info, if you'd like to join us. It's based in Minneapolis. We meet once a month and have been toying with the idea of starting a fuel-sharing coop.

- Lynn
