Thats Great!
Its interesting how some institutes make a distinction between BioDiesel being derived from refined plant oils for fuel......and then there is WVO. The media, as in this case, has a tendency to lump everything organic together including Home Brew/WVO, and pumped biodiesel and call it "BioDiesel". I think Joe-Public may be getting a little confused by the mis-use of the term by the media. I may be wrong but I don't think used tempura oil or WVO of any kind should be refered to as BioDiesel. What are everyone elses thoughts?

I agree. There needs to be better public awareness on the differences and proper definitions between SVO/WVO and BioDiesel.
BioFuels as a whole are such a hot topic and commodity that there's bound to be a steep ignorance curve amongst the undereducated and misinformed general populace.

Yep WVO is not Biodiesel. This would make a great tear down to see what shape the pistons and valves are in afterwards.

One of my pet peeves is those who post in ads that their car is "converted to biodiesel". Meaning......they put biodiesel in the fuel tank???
