WVO: Canola/Corn Mix?

My source is 'experimenting' using a 20% blend of canola/corn oil. Supplier is Sysco. Anyone have an opinion on this for biodiesel? I have a few years expereince with rapeseed WVO.

Canola/corn makes AWESOME biodiesel. Gels at a low temperature (about low 30s F) and places that use it in fryers are higher-end and change oil often, so it titrates low. My source for this oil changes it after every use (Italian caterer), and it titrates about 0.5 KOH.

Thanks for the replys.
Wish my source changed more often. Twice a month I get dark cubies and it goes on the gravel driveway.
BTW: Poppies (as in smack, horse, heroin, opium) makes some of the highest yield per acre biofuel. Now if we could just convince the warlords that welcomed us with flowers and open arms, Oh, that's another war. Hard to keep track these days.
The best oil I've seen for not being over heated or full of water, was from a donut shop ... no frozen animal fat.

Time to make the donuts. I thought that hemp had the highest yield per acre?

Marijuana is the nation's second largest cash crop.

Corn is the first!

Just read that on Sunday.
