It will work only until the injectors coke up and the car runs slower and rougher.
Dont believe me? ill PM you some pics of coked injectors from pouring it straight into the tank.

Heating it is the way to go!

How long does this coking take?
I've been running my 300D with no mods; for 1.5 yrs , and just use UVO filtered with acetone; powerservice and startron;
In that time I've spent about 100. at the "gas" station for times of emergency or when I got to busy to collect or filter.

I think I've paid for a new set of injectors by now; and maybe even another 300D to wrap around them......

Ol' "****box" as I lovingly call her; has 303,000. miles on her, and the body will rust to peices before the 617. burns a drop of oil between changes.

I will sell this rare 85 300D with the ever rare middle red MB Tex interior, and "dual dash vents"....Starting bid is 2100.

I'm amazed, in my book any car that has been converted to WVO just lost 50%-90% of its value to me. I'd give them $2k most, figure another $2k needed to undo it.

Those wheels are 8 holes, started on the W140 and look nice on any MB. Not a big fan of chrome wheels but some people are.

It’s not my intention to start a never ending debate about heating WVO or SVO. Certainly some people believe what others say or write, (I was one of them)
A few months ago I decided to experiment with my own cars and put an end with my findings to everything I have read on the different WVO SVO forums almost every body has the best way to run Veggie oil on this engines so far 3 of my MBZ are running with non heated SVO and the one with WVO used to have a German conversion for one tank system (by the way I sold the kit on eBay) 3,000 miles ago and the car has been running with non heated WVO and 2-3 gallons of dino diesel with no problems
I don’t feel any difference so far, it still starts at the first or second turn of the engine in the mornings just like before, so I will let you guys know if some problems develop with time and mileage am planning to run this non heated WVO until the engine dies same for the other SVO cars but the ones with SVO are been used only a few miles per month so it will take a lot longer than my daily driver the 85 300D non heated WVO powered Benz, the longer glow plugs from the German kit and the IP advanced timing is all that is left on this engine from the kit.

Until then Happy Holidays to all Moderators and members of Mercedesshop.com

I am pretty sure... Positive, actually, that the 85 300D came with a 5 cylinder 617 motor, not the 6 cylinder 603...

A euro 1985 300D, is a W124 with a NA 603. Confusing isn't it?

Wow- seems I was mistaken on both accounts- do I have to buy the car now?
