what a shame. take a perfectly good and somewhat rare w124 diesel wagon and then lovecraft it.

I think somebody took some rims of a W140 and put them on this wagon, looks really out of place.

Those are commonly called "8-hole" and they were first on the w126. Not my styled chromed, but they look great unchromed and are period correct. Gotta love the "much sought after rear third seat" It was standard.

i had the W140 8hole wheels on my SD. But it sat high off the ground, now i have W210 chrome wheels that sit the car lower.

8 holed wheels were never stock/standard on the w126.... they came on the w140 like the person mentioned above you. They were popular upgrades though.

My 87 300TD doesn't have the third seat. Must be substandard

The third seat wasn't standard until the 90s.

This is an '87 wagon we're talking about here. Not a 240D, in regards to pricing.

The wagons are the rarest diesel, less than 1500 imported, and the last Mercedes diesel wagon made for the United States.

They run for as much as twice the value of a typical SDL with high mileage.

This particular example is nothing exceptional.

i hate these ebay sellers, its just to bad to see some real nice MB diesels get garbage lovecraft kits installed because they are an easy and cheap way of veggin. They can at least up for the plantdrive single tank kit which is a proven reliable kit compared to lovecraft.

Not a fan of the Lovecraft conversion, but I've said it before. As regards ebay prices, stop the b*tching and start selling.

What's to complain about? Most if not all of us here own an MB diesel now. If people are paying 10x what you've paid, that means you're a smart investor. And what's bad about that? If your car is better than such and such MB on ebay, take 60 pics and sell yours for $15,000!

Oh, you say your car is not for sale (mine sure isn't)? Then just be happy with the fact that should the need arise, you have quite a cash cow on your driveway for emergencies.

Would y'all be happier if a minty 300D could be had for $200 on ebay? They'd be using them in demo derbies then, and they'd go extinct!!

Talking Just pour the oil in the tank and go! It works...

.
Hello All

I filter my waste vegetable oil and then pour it into the tank and go!

It works!

No conversion kit, no second tank, no heaters, nothing but the stock parts.

When it does get cold and I think the vegetable oil might get too thick,
I add some gasoline to it, to thin it back down.

This has worked for me!

Thank You
RichC
