"Biodiesel Conversions"

Since we're on a calling everyone out...

Misnomer or Misleading?

Anyone know if they are talking about changing to viton or actually doing 1 or 2 tank conversions?

When I sell my E300, it will be Biodiesel enabled. Why? Because I have changed the hoses and they have the new O-rings that will stand up to biodiesel.

For someone who refuses to acknowledge Bio-Diesel as anything more than a "fringe fuel", you sure are quick to jump on the bandwagon when selling your car.....sounds like you are a real "one way" dude.......

You bet I will profit from it. I wouldn't be lying. If you are dumb enough not to do your own research, well, a fool and his money are soon parted. When selling my car, if the buyer is a tree hugger, you bet I will extol the virtues of a diesel. I won't lie to make a sale like that unless I feel the other guy is trying to screw me but I'll gladly tell the truth in a light that makes my product look good. Such is life.

Or maybe they want to seperate some fools from their money. Look at the stuff we buy. The word "natural" sells otherwise they won't use it so much. Well, lead and arsenic is natural too.

And crude oil is considered organic, as are pesticides derived from crude oil.
Buyer beware.

MSG in foods is also "natural flavoring" god help those of us with MSG allergies, that want chips or some salsa... the words "natural flavoring" almost certainly means "MSG ADDED"

It was already biodiesel enabled before you changed the fuel lines and o-rings.

I know that and you know that. However, if the buyer wants it to be biodiesel enabled, I will tell him/her that it is. That is the truth.

I emailed the owner, and so far have received no response. I basically asked what they did to "convert" these cars to run on biodiesel.

Yup, agree with you there. You've got to market your cars.

John

Keep us posted on what they say.

I think converting to biodiesel is pretty easy.

1. Insert Credit Card
2. Insert Pump into filler Neck
3. Squeeze Pump Handle

I thought you need to change the o-rings to run biodiesel if the car is old enough?
