Fattywagons wvo kit...
Any opinions on it? Is it crap-tacular (lovecraft?) I just installed his inline heaters, and they're awesome. Just running regular diesel, there's a big improvement in overall performance.

Why would use use an inline heater with straight diesel?

I don't know about the overall system...I'm suspicious that they mention that if you want to run unfiltered WVO, you need one additional filter. I personally don't feel it's ever acceptable to run WVO straight out of the waste container...

That is a very good way to immediately plug a filter in the short term from all the crap, and a good way to corrode and otherwise foul up a fuel delivery system in the long term when you don't get the water out of the fuel.

His additional filter is a monster sized filter. He has even built custom, on the fly dewatering and filtering rigs for a couple of diesel trucks. Fatty has a pretty good reputation in the WVO/SVO world.

"Monster filter" will still not get out water. It will only allow more flow and longer intervals between plugging. In my mind, Fatty has a bit of an issue with testing and data collection; his component testing seems mostly limited to customer testimonial.

I'm not here to turn this into a pissing match about who knows more about wvo/svo. Fatty knows his stuff and expects you to know yours also. If you are dumb enough to run wet wvo in your diesel then that is your problem. For customers who want to be able to pour WVO strait into a tank and have room for the dewatering rig he has built on the fly dewatering rigs. For those that don't want to filter their DRY wvo he has included monster sized filters that take longer to clog.
If you want testing install an Elsbett system.

That came out wrong. I did not mean you as in YOU. I meant you as in if anyone is dumb enough to run wet wvo in their diesel then that is their problem. Sorry, Jim
