Nice deal
500 dollars and he tows it to you. That is a great deal. California is definitely Mercedes enthusiast heaven.

i just sold my 79 300SD for $600 to a good friend of mine, she was in need of wheels - I got it off Craigslist about a year ago in Sacramento for $650. the guy i got it from said he had been listing it for a month. I was the first one to actually make him a offer. They are not too hard to come by here.

Quite a few '80s diesels around here running WVO...personally, I'll never let any of that crap ruin my diesels....biodiesel is much more engine-friendly.
I saw a '95 E300 diesel with a large BIODIESEL sticker on the trunklid a few days back, I would've flagged him down had I not needed to be somewhere. I have a rather small "Biodiesel" window decal above my 3rd brake light even though I run B100...like a "silent revolution" kind of thing. Also many people who buy beat-up Benzes thinking it gives them instant "pimp status" in our world where 24-inch rims are standard fare on Escalades...

The seller said he sold the car very quickly after he posted the ad.
