I installed an inline temp. gauge just after the lovecraft filter/heater, before the fuel enters the IP. My highest temp reached was 110f! that took close to 30 minutes of driving to reach! My daily commute is under 12 minutes. I would say that I am almost always running on sub 90f oil (just a guess,temp gauge starts at 100f)
I was trying to point out that I have some actual facts about what a POS this system is. I think it is pathetic that this is the highest temp. reached. I hope you didnt take from this post that I was stoked about always riding around on 90f oil!!!

Quinn8it,

Have you thought about adding a flat plate heat exchanger? If your trips are short it may not help, but once the motor is hot it would probably add a bit more heat to your system. I use a 16 plate HE on my two tank system on a 300D.

Im sure that is good advice... but im going to drop the wvo in favor of Biodiesel.
