Anyone have extra WVO?

I'm trying to get enough biodiesel made for a trip to Florida. So far, every place I've called asking to collect oil is either being paid for it or in a contract. Is there anyone here around the Atlanta area who gets too much from a source?

have you checked the Japanese restaurants? they are the best source. second choice would be Chinese takeouts, but you will need a BIG barrel to settle out the junk from that oil. keep looking. you will find the source.

I'm seeing a trend that sources are starting to dry up. Happened to me on my best source already, here in Houston. When I've got more free time I'll have to do a little more sweet-talking to find replacement volume.

Cheers, John

my sources last year dumped me. I had 210 gallons of oil sitting that the new guy stole from me.. I called the company and complained.. They dipped into my drums that had my name and contact info. I never dipped into anyone elses drums.. They did apologize and give me a tote of clean VVO since they were dealing in biodiesel as well...

My sources up in my area have all dried up. My last few gallons are in the tank.
Did have some luck going further and further out of the metro. Then they dried up too.

PM me - have a stash over in Austel. Grab a drum and report back the quality supposed to be VVO.

wVO

Why not offer to pay for the WVO that you used to collect? It has to be less expensive than diesel. Find out what your former sources are being paid and match it. Here in rural WI finding sources has not been a problem yet.

I live in a rural area about fifteen minutes east of the closet big town. Out here there's the grocery store where I work that's good for about thirty gallons a week since their deli upgraded their two fryers to larger units. That's my only source now because I get way more than I can use from them. There's also a small restaurant whose owner knows me from working at the store that told me I could have his grease whenever I wanted to come get it. Also there's another small gas station that's good for about ten gallons a week that I had been collecting from till my grocery store started putting out a ton of oil. Seems like my rural area is good for a long time. There's a lot of restaurants in town that my brother tried when he was into wvo but they all turned him down.

I don't have any former sources. The only source I've ever had is not producing enough.

I'd like to publicly thank TX76513 for giving my 50 gallons of the best oil I've ever seen. The hard work to get it into my car and hauled home was way more than worth it.
