Clarkson on WVO

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GOFbsaNeZps

Cool; looks like they tax it in the UK.

Yeah I saw that, he was actually impressed. He has quite a thing against diesels.....and the environment for that matter. I still love the show though, I watch it multiple times a day on youtube.

If that really was all there was to the program on waste vegetable oil, I feel sorry for the folks ruining their engines on used cooking oil.
No mentioning about settling, de-watering and filtering. Neither did they say anything about common rail fuel systems/piezo-electric injectors which won't take WVO. (Isn't all diesels since a few years back common rail injected?..)

That Clarkson monkey can't like anything that isn't red with a prancing horse on the hood. I enjoy the show when I catch it, but not him. Tiff Needell is sorely missed in my book.

Pretty simple WVO / kero blend they're running there. Someone should tell them about the two-tank systems available now.

Cheers, John

Klaxon

You lot don't really believe that many people in the UK actually listen to Clarkson's insane rantings and buffoonery do you?

The fellow is an idiot - like all idiots, there are the odd moments of accidental lucidity
.

That was a really tiny amount of solvent, how was the amount surmised?

Is thinning with white spirit actually viable?

That clip is years old, and its simplified for the audience. Its not The Open University, its Top Gear, and its about great cars and having fun. Vegetable oil in a diesel is very boring.

Clarkson is great, he likes Ferrari's! Since they are the best cars man has ever created how can he be blamed?

He also really hates diesels, but a lot of people do. I think its irrational myself.

If I drove the way he drove, I wouldn't just hate Diesels, I'd hate MBs too.

He thinks diesel owners are cheap, penny-pinching bastards.

Some are *cough*. Also I think that was more of a joke.

I love when he goes off about Porsches having "no soul." Uh, yeah, OK. I miss mine (and its soul) all the time.

Ever read his panty-waist saga about his Ford GT? Doofus put in an aftermarket alarm, couldn't make it stop going off, and complained about it endlessly. Apparently Ford finally bought the car back because he was such bad advertising.

The clip being years old explains his hair.

Cheers, John

There's a clip on Youtube of him reviewing a W140 600SEL. More crazy hair
