Cool old style primer for 68 220D? needed 4 wvo?

hey folks, i am having trouble locating an original style primer for my 68 220D.
I understand it is necessary to have the original style if you want to use wvo, or other bio fuels . thanks jon

Primer pump makes no difference to fuel flow. It's only working when you are priming the injection pump, not when the engine is running.

The newer style that does not screw down is best as the old one is prone to leaking fuel out and/or air in.

The attached picture is of the old style.

It should never have to move the heavier fuel. WVO heated to a minimum of 160*f should have a similar viscosity to diesel.

You should not be running the oil through the injection pump until its at that temperature or higher.
