LoveCraft Green Machines

Bad news - LoveCraft is expanding to Portland, Oregon
Good news - more "converted" cars in boneyards for us for parts.

Looks like they'll be sending more brand new CDI's straight to the wreckers.

The bad part is that the cars will all have wrecked motors and IP's.

A travesty...a pure travesty...

I'm not a LC apologist by any means, but if these systems are as bad as people say they are, where are the cars that are supposed to be popping up in wrecking yards?

Ah shut-up Don....... We don't need the govt sueing businesses for that........ We allready have too much govt.... Besides, it would just hurt the good kits & companies, like Frybrid, which, BTW, I'm seriously thinking of going with......

I normally don't get jerked out of shape over stuff... But when someone wants more govt involvement in ANYTHING, it blows me off the top.........

No offense.......

They pop up on the used car market first!

I see such cars poping up on eBay and craigslist. Adds that read "injector pump bad" and then been running on WVO. Not a lot right now, but wait until these things get 20k, 30k or 40k miles on them. People are going to try to recoupe some of their investment first. Then, after they can not sell them and they sit in the driveway for a year or two, the reckers will have field day, except good running used engines will be scarce.

I wouldn't. Their customer service makes Lovecraft's look good. Last I heard They had several orders, and had received payment but were not shipping kits. At least frybrid has a better system.

Well, you've gotta understand, Frybrid doesn't "stock" any kits.. Every order is custom...........

I was using their system as an example... Not necessarily their company.... Basically, Frybrid, as far as I can tell, is the top of the line in kit conversions......

Although, Golden Fuel Systems seems to have some good stuff too......

The problem is that Lovecrap publicizes the misconception that you can buy their $500 "conversion" kit and run your car on used cooking oil simply by filtering it and pouring it in your tank.

They are lower than scum.

This will mean more parts availability for me.

All fun aside, there should be made more public awareness that such piece of crap conversions will ruin expensive machinery.

Im wondering ,has anyone thought of posting a contract from their company? It would be informative to realize how deep their company will go for you by what responsibility they stand by in the contract .If it reads something like "Were not responsible in anyway for your car blowing up ,just buy our kit and never come back ".Theyll be rolling up their gypsey rugs sooner than later.May be running out of business, aka suckers.Im not knowlegable on their kit ,just have read some peoples concerns here, lets dig deeper ,we may find a snake, or worse ,snake oil.
