Unhappy Rough idle, Diesel purge good, SVO bad, or aux pump?

Fuel flow -Tank-Small Aux Pump-Vormax-vetherm-Ip. Bought the 300d with this set up

I've been having a rough idle problem after two months of running vo/20%diesel. Adjusted the valves, cleaned/replaced all filters, new lines, cleaned injector tips, still rough idle. I also connected clear hose at the return to the tank and no air.

Then comes Diesel Purge

Two minutes in, runs super smooth and a bit higher idle. I mean I could sit in the cab and not notice the engine was on. A little smoke but not much.
I hooked the fuel system back up and its better but sadly she's still a bit rougher than while running the Diesel Purge right at the IP. I have 50/50 V0 and B100 in currently so I think its my system not the fuel
The vacuum gauge on the vormax reads good.

So my brother had the idea that the fuel system pressure could be off. That I should re-rout the aux pump so the system looks like a figure eight. Use t fittings so the return goes to the pump and tank as well as the delivery. A gain to the whole system instead of creating a possible imbalance.

Could this be the case or is it something like my IP timing is off so it runs a little rougher because of a different cetane or burn rate that I don't understand. and I did clean my tank filter. Everyone should clean there tank filter.

Thanks

Is this a single tank setup or a two tank setup?

Do you have any other heating in your veg system than the Vegtherm? If not then you are most likely having gelling issues. To make the engine run properly the VO needs to be atleast 160*F, if you are running it straight. With only a vegtherm, you will be lucky to get it much higher than ambient temps.

A blend of B100 and VO in the winter time is not a good idea. Most people can't run B100 by itself in the winter. Blending BD and VO isn't really gonna help to much in thinning out the VO. You really need petro diesel at least in the winter time.

Here is what I would suggest. First get as much diesel into your tank as you can get rid of the rough idle. And work on getting some more heat in the VO system so you can use more veg oil.

i actually have three heaters on my single tank system
the line up
fuel tank - aux pump - vormax heat exchanger filter - vegtherm electric heater - Primer Pump - Love craft heat exchanger (where stock filter used to be) Then Ip

Thanks for the Bio veg mix, I didn't know about it not helping out the viscosity.

I know the vegtherm nd vormax are working properly from the testing procedures from plant drive website.

Any ideas how to test the veg oil temp?
