I think the rug is too high a percentage, I seem to recall having problems when gas was too high in the ratio when I had my 81 VW Rabbit, it's manual said to go no higher than 20% rug in cold weather. My SDL manual says under no circumstances to add rug because it will kill the trap oxidizer, but to add kerosene up to 30% in cold weather to D2 or switch to D1. I think mixing Diesel and vegoil in a can before putting in cars tank to get it well mixed. I run pretty much straight vegoil except for some diesel during cold snaps. When really cold I do what I did up north go start car and go back inside for a bit, seems to get cold veg out of lines or my car stops a few miles down road. I do have a HE on my return line, so on long trips my whole tank would get warmed up, don't think it does much in around town driving.

To clarify a few things...
I heat my oil to 350 degrees for two-four hours in four gallon batches to get rid of any water...but I am unsure if that removes all of it. I have the vehicle plugged in and temps return to @ 70 on Wednesday...i will break open the hard lines to the injectors then and check to see if I have fuel there. THANKS SO MUCH! |

I cold filter to remove animal fats,or buy wvo that has been filtered with a spinning thing.
One thing else, either convert the engine to wvo.Or convert wvo to biodiesel.
