New Jersey Biodiesel

I just got back from a trip to Nashville TN where any of the Daily Sunoco's have B20 Biodiesel. I talked to a guy who was telling me that he has seen them for anywhere between 10-15c cheaper than regular diesel.

My question is simple, where can I find biodiesel in Central NJ?

I am trying to find a few places on Google but does anyone know of a web page that has gas stations that carry B20 or other alternatives? Share your experience or point me to a thread that I missed in my searches here.

Thanks!

Franksta

Update: Biodiesel.org has one place and now shows none. =)

Unfortunately, you have already tuned into the best source for Bxx retail locations.

Biodiesel is just not big here in the northeast. There is only 1 B100 retail outlet in MA, it just happens to be in the next town from me. And it's 50 cents more per gallon than petro-diesel.

Some petroleum distribution companies carry it. Sometimes at their own retail outlets, sometimes in 55 gallon drums. Those distributors are usually near the docks where the petro comes in. The place where I buy 55 gallon drums for my bio homebrew operation also carries B20 at the pump and is not listed on biodiesel.org

Good luck locating some bio,
dd

How disappointing! I would have thought by now there were a few stations that had Bxx. ::sigh::

I go to Total Fuel in New Rochelle (Westchester, NY) about once a month or less. I bring a bunch of jerry cans with me and end up getting 30 - 35 gallons at a time. Their B99 seems to be a bit cheaper than petro diesel in my neighborhood. They also have B20.

Just be carefull with cold temps, they're fuel gels at like 45F! Otherwise it's great.

Total Fuel New Rochelle

I second Total Fuel. They are nice people. In my experience the are a little more expensive than diesel. They also have B-20. Don't expect to pull right up to the pumps, they keep the Bio inside the warehouse, in 275 gal. home heating oil tanks. You have to drive into the warehouse, and there they fill your tank.

oh...

be warned! if you fill up with B100 for the first time you may plug up filters. B100 is a great solvent and sends all sorts of gunk up the fuel lines.
