Where can I get B100 in CT?

I have been searching for a place to buy biodiesel in eastern or central connecticut. I do know of a one place that sell B20 but I would much preffer to run a couple tanks of B100 through my car, most people on the forum say it does wonders for your fuel system. Does any body know where I can get some?

I wouldn't experiment with bio blends in the winter. Biodiesel has a higher gel point than regular diesel. If theres is a cold snap, you could end up with gelled fuel and not being able to start.

Bio in the fuel tank for the first time cleans out a lot of crud from the tank. You may clog filters repeatedly. Lots of accounts of this in the archives.

Depends on your vehicle and it's age - but read up before giving your vehicle a B100 injection.

Thanks for the input and the reminder, I am aware of higher waxing piont and the reason I wanted to run it was for its superior cleaning capibilitys. Bio Diesel Basics & Beyond is a great book and one of the main reasons I havent made any yet. I just wanted to run a some though my car to see if it would quite down a knock I have aquired in my 90 300d. I just filled up so I am about 2 weeks away from needing fuel but I will need to pick up some more fuel filters in the meen time.

The only place I know of, and I looked a lot, is Greenleaf Biofuels. They are a distributor and not a retailer, so you have to make arrangements to pick up fuel (B100). Talk to Charlie Beebe or Gus Kellogg.

I did some more poking around to find filling stations and there are very few. There are a couple of places that will sell over the road b100 but most sell it for home heating and equiptment use. Thanks for the help. I think I'm going to start off with some B20 at the irving in chaplin i usually pass that place once a week or so, and see how it works for me.

yes I did buy some B20 at the irving in chaplin that is the only place I know of that sells over the road Bio in my area of CT and it is only B20. There is a home brewer in Brooklyn that has B100 for sale and Im pretty interested but have not taken the time to check out his operation. I think he is running an old SD. Give me a shout Joe if your on the forum!
