Extra Oil - Burn it?

I have a few quarts of old 20W/50 laying around. Any issues with tossing a quart in the tank with a full tank of diesel? I can't imagine that this would be a problem, but maybe someone out there knows something that I don't.

best mileage i got on one of my old powerstrokes was with a few gallons of 15-40 in the tank. it has higher energy content, and will run a little quieter.

don't get too anal or worrysome about it. just do it.

If you are worried, make it a pint to a tank.
