Fort Worth, Texas Biodiesel co-op/trade

Hi,
I recently purchased a biopro 190 fully automated biodiesel processor and am looking for others in the Fort Worth, Texas area that would be interested in forming a co-op or interested in trading wvo for finished biodiesel. Feel free to pm or post here if you are interested. The biopro is capable of producing 50 gallons in 48 hours. This is a win win situation for those that have oil settling but don't want to run wvo all of the time or aren't able to source biodiesel. We can all benefit from this. Thanks.

Even if it was freezing out I would be all over your offer, sadly I am in Northern Virginia. I have approached a few brewers in my area and they arent interested in trading given the effort on their part. They only have time to make their own fuel.

Best of luck. This is a good opportunity. Have you posted on Craigslist and biodiesel.infopop?

I've posted on both. Many have wanted to trade, but none have actually shown up to do so. Oh well, I've got enough oil for myself, just wanted to try and help out others as well.

because people are generally lazy. No one wants to do the work. Even if I had more time to make fuel and people brought me clean WVO I would charge them at least $2.50 per gallon to turn it into biodiesel because my time is worth something and the materials aren't free either. Everyone wants cheap/free fuel without any effort.

In the past I've had people want to do an even trade WVO for bio, I laugh at them.

biodiesel

My standing offer is 5 gallons of triple filtered under one micron water free veg oil for one gallon of biodiesel. But no takers. I can not even find anyone close that will let me see there processor in person.

Most around here give up because it is so much work to make biodiesel between the getting accounts and keeping accounts and nasty grease and collecting the grease. Buying the supplies and the physical time it take to make it becomes a part time hobby at best. I have tanks and pumps and storage containers that I got from two different people that gave up.

I made my own processor but then I needed a pump for my oil filtering station before I finished and I never made a batch. Then I needed a heating element, and I do not really have time. Sadly I have all the ingreidients to make it. But it takes me longer to do a titration then it does to filter 30 gallons of grease.
