Ah--Hi Al!

Its not a hugely popular name over here either, and very few have the same spelling!--They say is the 'proper' way to spell it.....

Wow, John, 300 Gallons! If I have say, 50 Gallons in stock, I consider myself Very fortunate! Its getting pretty hard to get a consistent and regular supply here in UK due to various 'engineered' factors like 'Green Energy' and elect generation....
--When I started out making/experimenting running straight-veg in my M.B. years ago, it was dead easy to get the stuff, as the eateries had to pay to get rid of it. Now the big collectors pay them for it.....

There was little real info about BioDiesel in those days, so it was lots of messing round and experimentation.

The Main Thing I found in all that time--The DECIDING factor as to how the fuel turns out is the Moisture Content of the oil Before you start to make the fuel.

--WVO can hold a surprising amount of moisture--while appear perfectly clear and dry....

ANY Moisture will make Soaps in the fuel during the process, reducing the yield and making more work to the purification stages--whatever type of purifying you decide on.

I now actively Dry the oil of moisture before reacting, by taking up to 115-120 deg C and exposing to lots of air via circulation for an hour or two...

This I find works the best to dry the water out, after first separating the settled water from the bottom....
