Tjhank you everyone, if I am going to use this car for my long travel I need to make sure I have access to the entire tank. I was flashing the brakes yesterday, when I was under the rear passenger side I saw rigged line threaded to a fitting. I am thinking thats the line the strainer is attached to, I guess this is going to be a messy job.

Where is the easy way to drain as much fuel from the tank? I have a pump that can do 5 gal a minute, I was thinking of tapping into the supply line to the IP and drain it from there. Any suggestion to drain the tank is appriciated.

I;ve enclosed several photo of the car. Thank you again.

there is no way to drain the entire tank, as your strainer is clogging the last 3 or so gallons... but you can connect your pump to the supply line and get as much as possible, then under the car, remove the center hose, and let it drain SLOWLY... into a catch can, but it's going to literally dribble for days.
and you will STILL get a bunch of fuel all over you when you finally remove the strainer.

Siphon it out of the filler neck. When you go to pull the strainer put the car on stands so that it's tilted a bit to one side.

But yeah, you're going to be taking a diesel bath...or a bluish-green shower as some may say
