WVO sytem help

Wondering if anyone in the San Diego, CA area would be nice enough to show me their wvo filtering system and the kit they use on their vehicle. Thinking of getting into the wvo game and buying a mid 90's suburban with a 6.2/6.5l diesel. Any help would be great. Thanks

You can also look at yahoo groups for GreaterSDGreasers (Greater San Diego Greasers). You just missed our last "hoods up" meeting. I have a 1987 300SDL with a modified greasecar 2 tank system installed. Runs great here in souther ca but getting harder to find oil unless you have lots of spare time.

Look at John Galt's "cold upflow settling" WVO filtration set-up. I use my own version of it. My only modification would be the addition of a large diameter drain valve at the bottom of the first settling barrel. The better (although significantly more expensive) way is to filter using a centrifuge. IMHO.

I recommend looking up PABiodiesel centrifuge system, I am using one but for WMO. they are the best I've tested, just turn it on and let it filter as long as there if power it will clean. It is was me with that Chevy I would go with using WMO, it is easier than WVO. Just collect filter and then mix 50/50 some even use 70/30. That's 50% D2 and 50% WMO.

How long have you been running the WMO in your Benz. I'd like to hear more about your experiences.
