Got the parts for the water injection. Traveling on business thru thurs next week. Will keep you posted.

Greg, if I do part it out...message me privately if you are interested. I have some thoughts.

Update--was out of town all last week due to a funeral. Got the car back today--when the shop found the one cylinder down on pressure, they put it all back together, but never tried to start it. And start it will not.

I'm going to spend about four hours on it trying to get it to start--and if I can't, I'm done with running WVO in a Merc for a while. I have other things to pay for.

Update: Dragged the car home. When I took it to the shot it would start when cold with my foot mashed to the floor after cranking for a good bit of time. After the shop did the compression check, it wouldn't start.

Tried to start it by using WD 40 injected into the crossover tube--popped once, but didn't really try.

Upped the ante by using a camp stove propane bottle injected into the tube. Nada.

I'm not up for rebuilding the engine--anyone want the car? Most everything else works--AC, all lights, windows etc.
