Inherited Frybrid WVO system & want to convert
I just got a very clean 1982 Mercedes 240D with a Frybrid WVO system. After researching this company I see that it is no longer in business. I made the mistake of attempting to switch over to WVO from biodiesel and experienced an air lock that after days of attempts to clear, convinced me to revert back to straight bio-d and decommission the Frybrid system completely. I want to bring this car back to its original system, running on bio-diesel only using factory design.
My question is, Does anyone have a fuel line schematic for the original system so that I can correctly revert the wacky Frybrid system to Mercedes factory operation? I downloaded Frybrid's fuel routing schematic and found a Haynes Manual that assumes I already have factory lines and hoses in place. Diagrams in this book are poor and pictures fuzzy. I've included the Frybrid schematic for your perusal. Any assistance would be appreciated.

Welcome to the forum. I don't have a diagram unfortunately. I'm sure someone has one handy, or appropriate pics. You'll probably get a better response to your diesel-specific question in Diesel Discussion. You could ask a mod to move this for you.

You can get a free FSM at the MB website. It asks for a credit card but its free

just looking at your schematic it looks like all the WVO components are just bolted in and not integrated. You can do it it in bits by just removing the return valve and feed valve and reattach the fuel line back to the IP close to the way it was before. don't forget to reprime the fuelfilter if you spill alot of D. and next weekend cap off the heaters and remove the rest. I'd be interested in your WVO tank to turn it into a small transfer tank.

The lift pump has probably been moved from pushing fuel through the filter mounted on the engine to pulling it through, with a 3 port valve in between. Other changes mentioned here;
