FOR SALE: 50 plate HE - NEW

Taking the hit, and selling. 50 plate HE. Heats around a quart or so of WVO. 12" long x 5" wide x 7" high. Because my car project is now no longer a DD, but a garage queen and limited driving with CC insurance, selling out my WVO empire ...

$150.00 plus actual shipping plus PP fees. This is well over a 25% price break. This HE is new, never used.

PM if interested. Assume the shipped package will weigh in the ballpark of 25 pounds. I doubt it will fit inside a flat rate box.

On my car, it was going to be the battery tray as I relocated the battery to the trunk. That is one option. Or, you could mount it on the other side, by the inner fender so you have the closest, straightest shot from the cylinder head and then re-route the coolant back normaly. In other words, think of a batter tray mounted on the inner fender on the driver side on the wheel well inner fender. There's a huge open space there. It is a beast, but it's an option which permits an entire quart or so to be heated and is capable of 300,000 BTUs of heat transfer although the MB engine probably does not even come close.

Since I learned my lesson with driving my car around, or in my case having it towed, and if you have an accident, you really need great insurance to cover any issues. Thus, got CC insurance and my driving is no where near what it was with a diesel and that is why I am getting rid of all of my WVO stuff.

Already committed buyer for the in-house refinery, and I am just getting this or that ready for sale.

Way overkill for a car. That thing is more suitable for a semi or a outdoor wood boiler.

Other than you saying this, ... thanks for your continued unsolicited and uninformed opinions. Having the ability to heat roughly a quart of WVO is extremely useful.

Why so important, to have to remove the battery to mount it? You do realize this is a public forum?

On a single tank system in the cold that could be very useful if you had a block heater and and a coolant pump circulating your coolant over night. Your fuel would be warm in the morning maybe.
