My parents live in a decent trailer park. When Y2K came around, they had stashed water, dry beans, rice... alot of stuff. They said they wanted to be prepared.
I told them that if it all goes south, law enforcement will go out the window, and youll be robbed at gun point for your food hoard. A lawless homeless man with a gun will be more prepared. My dad said dont come to him for food then....lol Anyways, moral of the story is, if lawlessnes breaks out after an EMP attack, and youve got one of the few running vehicles left, you better be ready to live like a Somalian, or Libyan...lol shoot or be shot. As was said earlier, WHERE will you go? Black diesel will be the last thing to worry about. But I do think that Id still be interested in the "Soul Glo" jerry curl oil. IF I have to live like Moamhar Ghadafi, then I guess Ill curl my hair up like his.

Different scenario. An EMP wouldn't necessarily be from a physical nuclear attack creating wide spread devastation. It could be caused by an atmospheric event which might be an intentional nuclear detonation above the surface. or a comet, massive solar flare, asteroid impacting the atmosphere, etc., etc.
There, now don't you feel better?

Sigh, I'm thinking, considering your signature line, you might not be the best choice of deciding "tin foil" hat territory.

Dunno about the doomsday scenario, but I can recall the mornings after of a few celebratory events where I found myself in this position.

And I totally hear you on the organic transportation and the potassium nitrate & water etc. I've got those in abundance. Along with my supply of WMO and my tin foil hat. oh that was me on New Years Day, holy moly, I think i finally have had enough Patron Tequila for a while. Took about 36 hours for me to feel any semblance of.... well anything really. Shheeeeesh
