and most sources suggest retarding the injection timing (2-3deg.) as a result of the increased cetane rating...

My neighbor works the little league booth every Friday and brings me between 12-15 gallons of used one night oil each week. Most of the time it looks like virgin oil, clean and dry. When I get it like that I just run it through a filter and pour it into the two cars mixed with about 40-50% diesel. Cars run great on the mix, quiet, smells like french fries, no smoke The oil that looks burned or has chunks floating in it gets processed into bio for about .60 a gallon. Waste is nothing more than raw glycerin and gets put into the trash. Neighbor likes the fact that 80 or so gallons of oil a month don't go to waste like before. I like that $100.00 or so of my money does not go into the tank
