WVO coversion question regarding filter placement
Hey guys,
I am begining to install a WVO conversion kit from Greasel. The kit is very nice, but the documentation is poor. I am wondering if I can place my heated Racor filter in the trunk by the tank, or if it must be by by the lift pump in the bay? Thanks, Cassidy |
you can put it wherever you want, but it will stay warmer in the engine bay. Depending on your car, there should be ample room. I've got room for 3 racors in my sdl, not quite as much in the 300D. I put the SDL's racor 645 just in front of the ABS unit. tons of room, plus it allows it to be right beside the pollak valve.
good luck! Kevin I do have friends whose filters are in the trunk (vor-max) so it's just up to you... |
Doesnt greasel offer unlimited installation support? or is that someone else?
if it were me i would put it as close to the engine as possible, just incase it decides to stop heating on its own one day. will |
