I've always been a big fan of Meguiars and as of late their Gold Class Product.

I have a Smoke Silver '86 300E that looks VERY glossy. However, I've heard so much about how awesome the 3M Show Car Wax is, I'm finally going to try it. Keep in mind I do everything by hand!

Well guys, (Lee), any suggestions or tricks of the trade. Do you recomend the 3M Show Car Glaze first?

Any help is appreciated!

Thanks
Mike

Mike,
Going over the car with a polish/glaze before waxing would be a good idea. Since I'm sure the finish will have the old wax on the paint you would be best served to remove it with the 3m polish/glaze. Then when you put the 3m wax on you will get a clearer (no pun intended) picture of how well it works for you. Since the finish is already in great shape you wont have to spend allot of extra elbow grease. The polish will remove the old wax, give it a bit of extra shine, and leave the finish ready for the new coat of wax. No other tips except use linear strokes when applying and removing the wax. Keep us posted on how well you like it vs the Meguiar's system.

Good Luck and Enjoy....Lee
