Rust! What to do?

There is some rust on my '85 300TD.

The attached pictures show inside the driver's side rear door and directly above the exhaust pipe.

I'd like to keep my MB for another 20 years so any recommendations on how to vanquish these sores and not have anymore appear is appreciated.

Thanks

JJ

Thumbs up Scrape, cut, grind, weld in new metal and bondo or fiberglass.

Look through the first thread and study the second.
Who has the most rust and still drives
Rust stoppers.

Rust is like an iceberg, what you see is 1/10 of what is on the car.
The rubber undercoating hides it very well, any bulge or bubble must be cut open checked, repaired and resealed.
