Here's a bit of advice regarding the "Ziebart" or "Rhino liner" method. Don't!

The "Kiss of Death" for all old Mercedes!


Mercedes uses a lot of hidden "drains" which the glop clogs. Works okay on trunks and pick-up beds 'cause the water drains away and is exposed to air. Inside the frame rails is another story.

Waxyoil inside the frame tubes first and undercoat using a spray or brush-on product. The waxyoil will "drip" out through the drains and allow them to remain open.
