Question Bubbling paint job

I got a 2002 C230 Kompressor coupe (Canada) with only 54000K on it...pampered like a baby and I just spoted some bubbling on the passenger side door. I got the MAGMA RED paint on this car...anyone here experience rust comming up from under the pain like that...I never..whats your opinion, or idea on this phenomenon.
ciao

It has been worked on before and moisture is getting under the bondo and pushing it out. Very unusual to have the factory finish doing this.

Are you the original owner? If not there is always the possibility of prior damage. But do a search above. MB is having quite a few rust problems on newer cars - not at all unheard of. It's a new enough car that you should be able to get some help from MB. Actually should still be in warranty.

I have seen rust on some of the 210 cars and even a few S classes, but it usually shows up as rust around the edges of the doors around the weatherstriping. A bubble under good paint is usually a prior repair. Let us know what you find out. A mil guage will tell you in a hurry.

Holes from dent pullers?

Is it possible there is moisture getting under the bondo through holes left from a dent puller? I don't know if this sort of thing actually happens, but it seems like it's a possibility.
