bumper support bracket on w124

300CE '88 with a dent to the front lower lip of passenger side fender. It's bent in just under the indicator lamp, which by the way snaped off it's clips to the headlamp. I tapped a fence post by accident and the bumper and impact strip did nothing to absorb the force. There is what looks like a prior damage to the same spot. The bumper cover cracked. The bumper did nothing. It looks like the bumper is original and was resprayed. I got the car really cheap so it goes with the territory. The bracket that holds the support piece behind the bumper and under the lamp is bent. I think I should get a replacement. Also a bumper that doesnt have the foam in pieces and a good used bumper cover/front spoiler.
Then I also need to find out what to do with the fender lip. It's the part that returns in the front under the light. Most likely a new/used fender in same color would be best or cut and weld in a piece.
Any thought on this are most helpful.
Regards,
Jason
