Angry 300E water leak at firewall/kicker

Hi ,first post for me
I need some advice on fixing this leak as I need a new A/C compressor and suction hose or I won't dump $1400 for that repair.
I have water in the front passenger floorboard-thought I found the leak at bad splashguard placement behind battery. The guard pushed out the grommet on wiring harness underneath guard through fire wall. I reinstalled grommet and used black permitax/silicone over grommet. I found the deflector under windsheild that diverts water into the hose through wheel well was a little restricted from debris and hose was 1/4 inch below deflector. Water still got in. all drains work-sunroof too.
Have some rust on door kick (behind carpet). Should I remove fender and check for a broken seal/ weld.
Any ideas would be welcome-Love car but needs tires soon-bad right rear window regulator-adding up on me fast-maybe I need some church?
