How remove front rain gutters?

I have a water leak out the bottom of the front passenger pillar, and suspect the water may be getting in through a screw hole for attaching the front rain gutter -- only one of the three screws is there holding it on, the top one, of course

I want to remove that rain gutter to inspect for rust and to make sure that's how the water is getting in. Since trim pieces are often interlocked, and sometimes install-only, I figured I'd check my manual before starting, but can't find the section that covers this. I searched and couldn't find anything their either.

Does anybody know what section covers this? Or can point me at directions? Or can someone who's removed them before just tell me not to worry and just pull the screw and yank?

thanks.
