Rust bubbles

I'm hoping to tackle this issue soon. This was on my car when I got it in the spring, but I think it's getting worst. This is all on the drivers side. I did a terrible bondo job to cover a hole so it'd pass inspection but I really need to uncover it and deal with what's inside. I fear that it might structural underneath. Without a garage this is going to be difficult, but maybe I can rent one for a month or something.

Would you guys recommend Chad's fix of using jb weld and sheet metal? Or do you think it'd be easier to find replacement panels/doors? By the way, I have never done this kind of work before. I am about to take my initial plunge by fixing a hole underneath the battery.

Also, on the bottom inside of all the doors it is pretty rusty. I plan on getting new door seals, but how would they even attach on the bottom once all the rust is removed?

Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks!

The bottom of your door looks pretty gone. I'd look for a replacement and swap your door lock tumbler after painting it to match.

The other area where you repaired already would be better with a welded in patch. My type of repairs work best in areas where there isn't a structural risk.

Feel free to come over and I'll look over it with you and see if there's anything that can be repaired the way I did my wagon. I'll also help you in any way I can with repairs.

Anyone have four doors to spare! Chad, I would greatly appreciate you taking a look at this and giving some advice. Maybe I'll stop by once I'm ready to remove the bondo patch so we can take a look at the horrors underneath. I will be in touch. Thanks!

Cool. Remember ... I have a garage too. If you have another car to use, the repairs can be done over a weekend and a few late evenings.

That fender looks something like mine. My rear fenders both have poorly done repair attempts with lumpy bondo and rust bubbling up under the paint in places. Once I get my rear window fixed, that's the next thing on the list.
